Karoline Edtstadler

Federal Minister // Federal Chancellery, Republic of Austria

Before becoming Federal Minister, she was a Member of the European Parliament following elections in May 2019. From 2017 to May 2019, Karoline Edtstadler was State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of the Interior. Originally a judge in Salzburg, Edtstadler has spent time at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) in Strasbourg as a legal expert (2016-2017) and worked as an adviser in the cabinet of the Federal Minister for Justice.
