Alpaslan Deliloglu
CEO & Chief Sustainability Officer // IKEA Austria
Turkish-born Alpaslan Deliloglu has been Managing Director of IKEA Austria since 2019. Prior to that, he worked for IKEA in Switzerland and Turkey. Sustainability and innovation are particularly close to his heart. Alpaslan Deliloglu studied international relations, politics and economics at Kirikkale University (Turkey) with the aim of "making the world a little better." From 2004, Deliloglu was then on board at IKEA as IKEA Commercial Director for the whole of Turkey. Establishing new business areas remained a constant companion of his career there and still is today. He then served as Country Manager of IKEA Switzerland. Since 2019, Alpaslan Deliloglu has been Managing Director of IKEA Austria. He also has extremely ambitious and innovative plans for Austria: one of his goals is to bring about a change in awareness when it comes to the topic of sustainability.
