In this discussion, we take a critical and equally hopeful look at the current labor market. The search for the personified, competent needle in the haystack is proving to be complex for companies and requires clear strategies. Employers have a duty to position themselves attractively, innovatively and flexibly, to engage in good "employer branding" and to provide the necessary offers that promote long-term employee loyalty. After all, only those who can offer potential employees special incentives, such as flexible working time models and further training opportunities, will make it onto the shortlist of employees in the first place.
