It is hard to imagine our daily lives without them, and yet they are sometimes associated with a negative preconception. Yet they protect our most precious goods and products and thus also help to preserve valuable taste experiences along the entire journey from extraction and processing to the end customer. This refers to packaging - a commodity that, as already described, is omnipresent and, thanks to advanced technologies, can be used in many different forms, materials and therefore also properties. Where do we stand in our efforts to create more sustainable business models and products? What factors need to be taken into account? How can best practices be reconsidered? What milestones have already been achieved in terms of the green transformation?
