ACCESS CONTROLS AND RESIDENCE

The persons participating in the event are obligated to undergo a (possible) ID check by the supervisors/the security service/the security personnel of the organizer before entering the event location.

The security service/ supervisors/ security personnel employed by the organizer shall be entitled to search clothing, bags and containers carried by the participating persons for prohibited or dangerous objects at any time before entering the venue.

The security service/the supervisors/the security staff/the organizer is/are entitled to refuse entry to the venue to persons who may pose a security risk (e.g. due to excessive consumption of alcohol or the carrying of prohibited or dangerous objects). The same applies to persons who refuse a search of their clothing, bags or containers or a possible ID check. In individual cases, the security service/ the supervisors/ the security staff/ the organizer is/are entitled to carry out such checks even on persons participating in the event who are already in the venue.

In the event of violations of the house or site rules, the organizer/the security service/the supervisory staff/the security staff/the organs of the LPD Vienna shall be entitled to expel the offenders from the venue.

After the end of the event, all visitors must leave the venue as quickly as possible.

**Bag control
Only small bags (not larger than A4) and no backpacks are allowed at the festival. At the entrances all persons will be checked by security staff for any prohibited items.

Please understand that bag checks will be conducted.
The security forces have the last word in any situation and this is to be obeyed without exception.

CARRYING ANIMALS/PLACING HAZARDS

It is prohibited to bring animals. Dogs, except guide dogs and partner dogs, must wear a muzzle and must be kept on a leash. Guide dogs and partner dogs must wear a harness.

The parking of bicycles, electric scooters, Segways or similar vehicles in the event location or the tethering of these to structures, fences, barrier grids, etc. represents a safety risk and is prohibited / is only permitted in the designated areas. In the event of non-compliance, the vehicles may be removed at the expense of the offender by the security service/ the supervisors/ the security staff/ the organizer and stored by the organizer.

LANGUAGE

All speeches and panel discussions will be held in German and English.
All speeches are translated into English in real time.

NO DRIVING POLICY

Single- and multi-track motorized vehicles are strictly prohibited from driving in the event location. Driving on the event site is only permitted with the express permission of the organizer and must always be done with extreme caution and at a maximum speed of up to 7 km/h. The use of non-motorized vehicles and sports equipment such as bicycles, scooters, electric scooters, Segways, inline skates, skateboards, roller skates or similar vehicles is also prohibited in the event location (except for bicycles on the bicycle path).

NO-SMOKING POLICY

Smoking/vaporizing of (tobacco) products is prohibited in the entire event location/premises or tents accessible to visitors.

Cigarettes are to be disposed of exclusively in the ashtrays provided for this purpose in the outdoor area. Waste, packaging materials and empty containers are to be disposed of exclusively in the waste containers provided in the venue. Empty reusable cups must be returned to all catering stands.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

It is prohibited to bring any kind of objects and substances that may pose a threat to the protective interests listed in Section 18 (1) of the Vienna Events Act 2020 (in particular, threats to human life and health, threats to operational safety).

Prohibited are in particular:

  • Weapons of any kind (any particularly dangerous object capable of threatening life or limb shall be deemed to be a weapon)
  • Objects that can be used as weapons or as projectiles;
  • Gas spray bottles or pressurized containers for highly flammable or harmful gases, with the exception of commercially available pocket lighters;
  • Toxic, corrosive or staining substances or articles;
  • Glass containers, bottles, cans, plastic canisters, hard packaging or other items made of glass or any other fragile, shattering or particularly hard material;
  • Pyrotechnic articles and sets, such as: Fireworks, smoke bombs, Bengal fires, etc.;
  • mechanically or electrically operated noise instruments (e.g. megaphone);
  • Laser pointers, whistles, gas guns;
  • pepper sprays or similar;
  • Large or bulky items such as ladders, stools, (folding) chairs, boxes, large bags, backpacks, camelbacks (hydration packs) travel cases;
  • Bicycles, skateboards, snakeboards, in-line skates, scooters, kickboards, Segways and similar vehicles;
  • racist, xenophobic, national socialist, sexist or political propaganda material.

In case of doubt, the classification of objects as prohibited or permitted in the sense of these House or Place Rules shall be incumbent upon the security service/ the supervisors/ the security staff/ the organizer and the organs of the City of Vienna as well as the organs of the Vienna Provincial Police Directorate. Persons carrying prohibited objects within the meaning of these House or Place Rules shall be denied access to the venue. If persons are found in the venue with prohibited objects, the organizer/the security service/the supervisor/the security staff shall be entitled to expel the persons concerned from the venue.

SAFETY
  1. Every visitor must behave in such a way that no one else is endangered, harmed, hindered or harassed. The information, commandment and prohibition signs as well as the instructions issued by the control or official monitoring bodies, must be followed without fail. It is also forbidden:

  2. To disturb the event, to use or spread political propaganda and actions, racist discriminatory or anti-constitutional slogans / emblems

  3. To throw objects or to spill liquids of any kind

  4. To ignite fires, fireworks, lighting fixtures, smoke powder, smoke bombs, Bengali fires, rockets, sparklers or other pyrotechnic items to burn or shoot down

  5. To mark, paint or cover structural installations, facilities or ways or to set up other things in the facility

  6. To carry out the emergency may outside the toilets or to throw away the building by objects, wastes, packaging, empty containers or similar to contaminate

  7. To restrict or impair traffic areas, footpaths and driveways, entrances and exits to visitor places and escape routes

  8. To stand on the seats in the spectator areas.

  9. Anyone who damages or destroys equipment is fully liable for the damage. For damages caused by minors, the parents, their legal representatives and guardians are jointly and severally liable.

  10. All traffic routes and exits must be kept clear and unobstructed. Furnishings, armchairs and benches may not be removed from their locations or placed in traffic routes or in standing places. Buildings and equipment not intended for general use, in particular facades, fences, walls, enclosures, barriers, lighting systems, camera platforms, trees, masts of all kinds and roofs may not be climbed on or over. Escape staircases may only be used if evacuation is requested.

  11. Visitors are not permitted to bring seating or standing facilities.

  12. Visitors are advised that there is a risk of damage to hearing and health at events, particularly due to the volume. Particularly for children and persons sensitive to hearing, it is therefore advisable to take appropriate protective measures.

TICKETS // CHECK-IN

Tickets are not transferable and cannot be altered.
The tickets are only valid in combination with a valid photo ID.
All ticket bookings and payments are processed by our partner FLAVE. They provide a web-based solution for booking and payment processing and have also been commissioned to charge for the booked services.

Youth protection:
Admission to the venue is only permitted for young people/persons under the age of 16 accompanied by adults authorized to give instructions (parents, legal guardians, teaching staff, etc.).
Children under the age of 8 may enter the festival grounds free of charge, but only with an accompanying adult (18 years or older).

In addition, the Vienna Youth Protection Act (Jugendschutzgesetz idgF) applies to the entire venue.
