The question of whether economic growth and saving the world are compatible is a concern not only for the political and economic elite, but also for society at large. In the face of global challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the energy crisis and rising prices, it is becoming increasingly clear that things cannot continue as they are. But how can we shape an economy that is not only focused on growth and profit, but also on saving our planet and promoting the common good for all? How can we show that economic growth and sustainability do not necessarily have to be at odds with each other? For a future worth living for generations to come, cooperation between all stakeholders - companies, governments and consumers - is more important than ever. Discussing this with PULS 24 presenter Isabella Richtar: Michael Strugl (CEO VERBUND), Paula Dorten (climate activist Fridays For Future), Walter Oblin (CFO Österreichische Post) and Marc Buckley (lawyer & founder ALOHAS Regenerative Foundation).
