Sahra Tasdelen has been conducting research on cardiovascular organoids at the Institute of Molecular Biotechnology (IMBA) in Vienna since 2020 as part of her master's thesis. Prior to that, she has completed various scientific internships in Austria and abroad. She is a graduate of the University of Vienna with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, specializing in "Genetics and Microbiology". Besides her research, she also engages in science communication, through which she has already collaborated with the Austrian Academy of Science (ÖAW) and the Science Busters. Through her social media blog, she reports on everyday life in science and gives an insight behind the scenes of research.
