Roland Weißmann

Roland Weißmann graduated from high school in 1986 and studied journalism and history in Vienna. For the first 15 years of his career at the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF), Roland Weissmann worked as a reporter, journalist and program manager in radio and television, before assuming commercial management functions. In 2012, he became head producer and in 2017 deputy CFO. As managing director of the ORF-subsidiary-company ORF-ON he was responsible for the launch of the ORF-Player. In 2021, he was elected director general.
