Lucy Georgieva

Lucy is a highly experienced digital leader, lawyer and policy professional with a strong track record in the technology and public sectors. She currently oversees Google's policy work in Austria but joined Google in Brussels in 2019 as EU Policy Lead for Privacy & Security. Prior to Google, Lucy worked at a law firm and the Austrian public administration for 15 years, incl as a diplomat and Special Attachée for Cybersecurity, Data Protection and Media Policy at the Permanent Representation of Austria to the EU. Lucy is a frequent speaker and publisher, and holds a master and doctorate in law.
