Kristina Hammer

Since January 2022, Dr. Kristina Hammer is president of the Salzburg Festival. Prior to this she has held international management positions in marketing communications in the premium automotive industry and luxury retail in Germany, England and Austria for more than fifteen years before founding in 2010 her own strategic brand consultancy in Zurich. Her company supported decision-makers in creating and repositioning corporate brands and advised on internal and external communication strategies. Furthermore, Kristina Hammer acted as executive coach, counselling clients on leadership and change management. She also served on several company boards and was a visiting lecturer at St. Gallen University and the ETH in Zurich. In addition, Kristina Hammer has served as a board member of the Friends of the Zurich Opera.
