Since 2016, Iris Thalbauer, a lawyer, has been responsible for the agendas of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber's Trade Division as Managing Director. Prior to that, she was Head of Division in the Federal Trade Section from 2001 to 2016, responsible for the areas of payment transactions, financial and trade policy, public relations, and e- and m-commerce. Iris Thalbauer has been active in the organization of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber since 1998. Since 2017, she has also been a member of the Supervisory Board of Agrarmarkt Austria Marketing GesmbH.
