Gerhard Kohlenbach is Editor-in-Chief of "News, Politics & Sports. He has been responsible for the politics, news & weather and sports departments at RTL NEWS since the end of 2020. In addition, the editorial teams of "RTL Aktuell," "RTL Direkt," "RTL Nachtjournal" and "VOX News" report to him. The former editorial director of "RTL Aktuell" began his professional career in 1989 in the heute editorial department at ZDF. In 1993, Kohlenbach moved to VOX as an editor. Gerhard Kohlenbach then held various positions at "RTL Aktuell" from 1994.
