Christoph was born in 1973 in Innsbruck, Austria. 1999 he completed his studies of international economics and business with a focus on marketing, human resource management and public / non-profit management at the University of Innsbruck with honors. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame (Indiana, USA) as Master of Business Administration with magna cum laude as scholarship recipient. In 2016 he completed the “Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Management” as a scholarship holder at the European School of Management and Technology.
Starting his career in an advertising agency in Vienna, Christoph started a different career path as management consultant at the Institute of Public Management, Innsbruck/Vienna, Austria in summer 2002. He published the book "Implementation of ERP Systems at Universities" as co-editor 2006. After implementing a large public sector project for Avaya Communications he started his career in January 2011 with SOS Children’s Villages International with business unit responsibilities managing operations throughout 128 countries worldwide. In 2014 he was promoted to “Head of Individual Giving” and in 2016 was promoted to International Director Fund Development (interim). Starting in summer 2018 at Light for the World International, Christoph worked as the International Director of Fundraising until autumn 2020 and was responsible for market development in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and the Czech Republic.
Christoph Jünger gave international lectures at meetings, conferences, conventions and at the University of Innsbruck and has been active in social projects since his student days. He is father of one daughter.
