Anna Parr

Anna Parr has been Secretary General of Caritas Austria since 1 October 2020, making her the first woman to hold this position. She heads the federal organisation of the nine diocesan Caritas organisations and thus coordinates the cooperation of Caritas in Austria, represents Caritas at national level and also handles joint projects. The tasks of Caritas Austria range from the development of social policy positions to international disaster relief. Before joining Caritas Austria, the graduate economist held various positions in the Vinzenz Group, a provider of non-profit health and social services, most recently as a member of the management board.
