Despite the glamorous big events, setbacks, obstacles and opaque decisions often hang over the competitions, which can affect the fairness of the competitions. Nevertheless, sport should not only be a place of competition, but also a platform to address societal challenges and drive positive change, with discipline and determination playing a central role.
