Richard Kachungu

Richard is a Youth AgriChampion of the Ban Ki-moon Centre and co-founder of the Young Emerging Farmers Initiative, which now has over 1000 members and aims to promote, mobilize, support and empower young people to carry out sustainable agricultural activities. He is also involved in the Zambian Youths for Conservation, Agriculture and Livelihood Action and Young Agents in Conservation Agriculture projects. The aim of these projects is to empower young people in Zambia to effect change in their communities through climate-smart agriculture and raising awareness of the SDGs.
