After working in Hamburg, Detmold, Oxford, London and Paris, the writer and historian has been living in Vienna for several years. His books have been translated into 16 languages. In addition, he has worked as an editor, translator, curator, presenter, filmmaker, journalist and foreign correspondent, which has taken him to various places in Europe and America. To radio listeners, Blom is known as the host of the Ö1 discussion program "From Day to Day."
