In 1994 Paolo Barilla was appointed Vice Chairman of the Barilla Group, a role he still holds today. Since then he has also held the following roles: Deputy Chairman of the Barilla Center for Food & Nutrition Foundatio, Chairman of the International Pasta Organization (IPO), Chairman of the Italian Food Association (Unione Italiana Food) and member of the Confindustria Executive Council (Consiglio Direttivo)
