Florian F. Iro

CEO // Erdal Gmbh - Werner & Mertz

I am following the call to lead innovative brands with committed principles of an environmentally sound and sustainable business approach. In our work we link research with a passion for our products, always with the goal of combining the best possible cleaning performance with the greatest degree of environmental protection.

In my professional past I had the joy to lead a traditional and artisan tableware manufacturer in Gmunden, Austria into a new area of digitalization, global expansion and unrivalled consumer experience.
Furthermore I was part of the board of Directors for a wine and spirits group headquartered in Vienna with group companies in Germany, France, Netherlands, UK, Switzerland, USA, Japan, Russia, Ukraine, and Georgia.

The past assignments also included the exciting challenge to expand and develop a new disruptive business model with FRIYA - healthy snacking by bringing together a vibrant lifestyle brand with truly functional products.

My past experience extends as far as having worked as a CEO of a mid-size company in Salzburg, Austria which was part of a large Japanese and US. owned international group.
I was leading a dedicated team in three major business units operating locally, regionally, and worldwide.

My continuous goal is to create a motivated and familial environment for individuals to prosper and contribute to our organizational targets - while managing the demanding task to conciliate global group strategies and small business needs.
Challenges included the reorganization of the company structure, introducing a complex management reporting system, quality improvement policies, introducing company culture changes, as well as interdisciplinary work behaviour.

I am honored to maintain a true global network with a multitude of organizations and contacts from several industries. With passionate interest and experience for cross-cultural issues, I am traveling the world as an ambassador for global thinking aligned with local implementation.
