Marco Harfmann is Marketing Communications Director at A1 Telekom Austria. His responsibilities include advertising, sponsoring, branding and eSports for A1, which is one of Austria’s best known and most respected brands. He received his MBA degree at the University of Business and Economics in Vienna. Marco started his career in 1994 as a product manager at Unilever Austria. From 1999 on he held various managerial marketing and sales positions at mobilkom austria, Tele2, Konica Minolta Photo Imaging and Fujitsu Siemens. He joined A1 Telekom Austria in 2009, heading the product marketing department until 2016, when he became responsible for Marketing Communications. Marco recently headed the founding of the “A1 eSports League Austria” which has evolved into Austria’s largest eSports platform.
