Gregor Demblin

Serial Entrepreneur, Tech Pioneer and founder of tech2people

Gregor Demblin is paraplegic since a bathing accident at the age of 18. Despite intensive training he remained in a wheelchair. From his experiences he drew his motivation to found Europe’s first inclusive online job platform Career Moves in 2010. 2014 followed the foundation of myAbility, a consulting enterprise which globally set new standards with regards to accessibility. In 2018, his deep involvement with technological innovations led to the foundation of tech2people which aims at the highly qualified application and further development of Human Technology.

Tech2people offers the first ambulant center for walking therapies with an exoskeleton. He is the first Austrian who participated in the Wings for Life Worldrun in an exoskeleton. For his engagement he received several national and international awards, among them the European Award for Social Entrepreneurship 2014, the Austrian National Award for PR 2014 and the Finalist EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2018. He was appointed as Ashoka Fellow in Washington in 2013.
