Daniel Horvatits is CEO of Phantom Fox Interactive GmbH – a Vienna based interactive media studio that received a funding by the Vienna Business Agency through their programme creative_project in 2018 for creating and developing an interactive children’s book with adventure gaming elements. “Children of Lumera” will be the first story to be told inspired by the greatest story-tellers of our times like Michael Ende or J.R.R. Tolkien that will attract the young and the young at heart. Lumera is a world in which one desires to immerse completely and where one can follow the steps of the courageous heroine Elo Brightfyre. Daniel has been working as a motiondesigner for more than 15 years with his own company “Motionworks” and is an expert for 2D/3D animations, product visualization and emotional storytelling. Since the day his grandmother handed him a mystical, old children’s book that kept him up all nigh, he dreamt of telling these kinds of stories in a new, audio-visual and interactive way. Together with his team of Phantom Fox, he is now breathing new life into the traditional, charming way of storytelling we all grow up with and is making its magic available in a fresh and digital form.
