Christina Schösser

Wirtschaftsdelegierte Shanghai, China expert and enthusiastic traveller

Christina Schösser graduated from the Vienna University of Commerce and Business Administration in 2002 with a master’s degree in International Business Administration. She joined the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO) in 2002. She was appointed Stv. Wirtschaftsdelegierte at the AußenwirtschaftsCenters in London, Beijing and Warsaw. In autumn 2012 she took over the position as Regional Manager for Far East & Oceania within AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT AUSTRIA, the official Austrian Trade Promotion Agency. In this capacity, she was the first point of contact for Austrian companies wishing to expand their market activities into the Asian region. In addition, she coordinated activities of AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT AUSTRIA offices abroad, developed country and regional strategies, organized events in Austria and abroad and took care of visiting international delegations. Since September 2015, Christina Schösser is the Österreichische Wirtschaftsdelegierte at the AußenwirtschaftsCenter in Shanghai, responsible for Shanghai and the provinces of Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Zhejiang and Anhui. Besides this regional expertise, the office in Shanghai has a strong industry focus. It supports Austrian companies from the following sectors wishing to enter or grow in the Chinese market: automotive, mobility, new materials, medial technology, maritime industry, life sciences and pharma, publishing & media, advertising and food and drink industry. Additionally Christina Schösser and her team support Austrian start-ups wishing to gain a foothold in China.
