Raoul Hoffer is a partner of Binder Grösswang, head of its competition law team and an expert in digital law. Raoul is recognized as one of the “Leading Individuals” in the area of EU and Competition and is listed among the leading names for antitrust law in Austria. In addition, he coordinates the activities of Binder Grösswang in regard to digitalization and is in charge of its competence centre on digital law.

Raoul has been with Binder Grösswang since 1991. He received his PhD from the University of Vienna (Dr.iur.) in 1992 and his postgraduate degree (LL.M.) from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 1994.

Raoul regularly publishes on topics related to antitrust, merger control and digital law.

In this context, the book “Digital Law” offers a systematic overview of the legal developments in many different application areas of digitalization and also provides approaches for solving some of the essential new legal questions in this regard. Thus, it is intended both for practitioners of law with specific practical questions on the subject of digital law, and for those who are interested in obtaining a general overview of this exciting new field.
