Laura Fariello

Head of Circularity and Sustainable Solutions // Wien Energie

Laura joined Wien Energie from Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) where she was Head of Sustainability with a strong focus on Green Transformation and ESG topics. Her previous work experience include positions at the United Nations where she worked on various renewable energy and climate change projects across Southeast Asia and Africa and Bertelsmann Group with assignments in China, Japan and CEE. Laura holds a Master in Environmental Science from Harvard University (USA) where she was an Al Gore Climate Fellow and a Bachelor degree from European Business School (ESB) in Germany as well as ICADE Business School in Spain. She is fluent in five languages.
