Shaping the Future of Europe: The Role of the EU

Europe's security, competitiveness, demographics, the economy, enlargement to the south and east and social cohesion: Europe is facing a variety of challenges. There are many solutions on the table, but which ones are the right ones? Some things are known, many things cannot be said with certainty. But one thing is certain: Europe will only cope with the future positively if the states, the regions, the people in Europe remain in dialogue with each other, stand together and shape the future of Europe together.
